The Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Executive Board of Directors plays a vital role in shaping the future of library services throughout the state, setting strategic priorities, and advocating on behalf of libraries and the communities they serve. We invite members to nominate individuals, including themselves, who demonstrate a strong commitment to CAL's mission, bring valuable leadership experience, and reflect the diversity of our membership. 

Important Dates:

  • Nominations/Applications Due: September 30
  • Board Approves the Slate: October 9
  • Election Opens: October 15
  • Election Closes: November 5
  • Annual New Board Member Orientation: Winter 2027/2028
  • Bi-Monthly Board Meetings: Second Friday at Noon - Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct and Dec
  • Annual Leadership Workshop: Fall 2027/2028
  • Annual Budget Meeting: November 2027/2028
